Any work that Bill Moyers does is thoughtful, penetrating, revealing and of the highest quality. In this particular series each of the four videos has a different theme and features interviews with patients,hospice workers, volunteers, medical professionals across the country.
The videos present the difficult choices that we face as life prolonging measures become more accessible; the work of palliative care programs; end of life decision making and a debate over physician assisted suicide; and the challenges and rewards of the work of hospices, especially those serving economically disadvantaged communities.
A terrific series and one that hospices will want to have to share their vision with caregivers, patients and the community. This is a "must have" for hospices and now being offered at a reduced rate through the above website.
