Every person dies their own unique death, but every
caregiver of a dying person has many of the same emotions: fear,
uncertainty, confusion, helplessness, doubt and despair.
Because it helps to have support when trying to make sense of deep
emotion, Georgia Weithe has created an opportunity for conversation
with those who are providing care for someone at the end of life, or
who anticipate they will be in the future.
In this circle she will share what she learned while accompanying her
father on his end-of-life journey, including:
- Six steps for sitting vigil
- What death can teach us about living
The Circle of Compassion allows those saddened by the imminent death
of a loved one to listen to a family member who has experienced a
loss, and to share their feelings in a safe, compassionate setting.
