Archive Talk CDs on Bardo Training
http://www.slimeworld.org/cloister/tapes/bardo.html

Death is the great adventure. There is no escape from death, and there is no alternative to preparation for anyone wishing a conscious death to culminate a conscious life. E.J. Gold has written, "Man's real use is death. Death is the function of life and therefore death is not removable from life." He adds that this is misunderstood and will be misunderstood for generations to come by many who are exposed to the idea.

The American Book of the Dead and Angels Healing Journey provide instructions and readings for the between-lives state. The Lazy Man's Guide to Death and Dying tape presents readings for the bardo from another perspective, using levity to address the being directly in the bardo. For those who wish to become competent to guide others and prepare themselves for dying, the Labyrinth Reader's Course and other materials and tapes are available.

If you have not read these books - available from Gateways Books & Tapes - or thought about your own preparation for death - we urge you to do so. Recent CDs, with musical backgrounds and voice inductions simulating the bardo experience, are designed to give you a vivid introduction to these spaces and experiences. Once you listen to one of these induction CDs, you will want to play it for others, too...
