The Center offers two programs in Death and Dying this Fall/Winter - from the website:

September 29 - October 1
Familiarize yourself with the terrain of the second death bardo and learn how to use this transition to obtain liberation.
Contemplative End-of-Life Care: A Naropa University Certificate Program for Healthcare Professionals with James Duffy, Annie Eichenholz, Christine Longaker & Pamela Russell
January 6 - 14, 2007
Join us for the first of two residential retreats offered as part of Naropa University's “low-residency” professional certificate program.
In the Shambhala Buddhist tradition, we embrace death as not only a natural part of life, but also an opportunity to celebrate the preciousness of the human condition. Rather than denying, rejecting or fearing death, through right understanding and practice we can learn how to die a good death and help others do the same, while learning to live more fully, moment by moment. Moreover, we can prepare ourselves to use this transition as a vehicle for enlightenment. The programs below have been designed to demystify and prepare you for this ultimate letting go.
