Education in Palliative and End of Life Care (EPEC)

This is an onsite and online program for education in palliative care. Several courses and levels of instruction are available including "Become An EPEC Trainer" if one wishes to achieve certification as an EPEC Trainer and then teach others core skills in palliative care, or the "Professional Development Workshop" if one wishes to enhance his/her teaching and leadership skills. The Professional Development Workshop is also necessary for those who wish to be a candidate for becoming a Master Facilitator in The EPEC Project. The complete EPEC Curriculum is now available as Online Learning for CME credit. EPEC is sponsored by the office of Continuing Medical Education at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. The target audience is physicians and other health care professionals who are engaged in palliative care education and clinical practice.
